Designs, develops, and optimizes low-level software components for next-generation systems.
Works through the full software development lifecycle, from customer requirements analysis through software design, implementation, and debugging.
Supports advanced equipment in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain .NET applications using C# and WPF.
- Implement client-server communication with WCF, TCP/IP, and other protocols.
- Develop and integrate low-level hardware control interfaces using TCP/IP, serial, and other communication protocols.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and system integration.
- Contribute to improvements in software architecture and development processes.
- Travel internationally to customer sites at least 20% of the time, with additional travel as business needs require.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years of professional .NET and C# software development experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with WPF GUI design and implementation.
- Proficiency with WCF, TCP/IP, and client-server communication technologies.
- Experience interfacing with hardware through communication protocols.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Git.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with metrology tools and SEMI industry standards is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range is $86,400.00 to $129,600.00, based on experience, location, and qualifications.
