Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech, M.Tech, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of solving problems at scale.
- Programming Expertise: Extensive experience in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Java, C, C++). Exceptional coding skills with the ability to fluently translate design into maintainable, scalable, and unit-tested code.
- Concurrency: Strong hands-on experience with multi-threading and concurrent programming.
- System Design: Deep expertise in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), design patterns, and building intuitive module and class-level interfaces.
- Scale & Data Management: Proven experience building highly scalable business applications, handling complex business flows, and processing massive volumes of data.
- Database Proficiency: Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) as well as NoSQL technologies (e.g., HBase, Elasticsearch, Aerospike).
- Engineering Best Practices: Strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) on a Linux platform.
- Working Environment: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth, dynamic startup environment with high levels of ownership and commitment.
