Software Development Project Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Software Project Manager to lead and coordinate both internal and client-facing software development projects. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth project delivery across multiple teams, maintain full visibility of progress, and drive execution with clarity and accountability. This role requires strong ownership and the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams, ensuring all tasks and deliverables are completed without oversight gaps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, technical task lists, and up-to-date project tracking systems.
• Monitor progress across multiple workstreams, ensuring all tasks, dependencies, and risks are properly tracked and addressed.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication across teams, including follow-ups, sprint updates, and delivery notifications.
• Review and validate deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements before closure.
• Lead sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate closely with developers, UI/UX designers, QA teams, and external vendors.
• Utilize Jira (or similar tools) for backlog management, sprint execution, and reporting.
• Identify potential risks early and take proactive steps to resolve bottlenecks.
• Uphold high standards of organization, accuracy, and documentation across all project activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in software project management or technical coordination.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira, including boards, workflows, sprint planning, and reporting.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proactive approach to follow-ups and task completion.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Certifications such as Scrum Master, PMP, or other Agile-related credentials.
• Basic understanding of APIs and software architecture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
