Software Development Project Lead

Role overview

Project and technical leadership

• Lead overall project delivery and coordination across projects and internal teams.
• Own and sustain High-Level Design (HLD), acting as the single point of contact for HLD and maintaining quality standards.
• Review business requirements with software delivery teams and allocate requirements across technical teams, identifying interfaces and dependencies.
• Create clear communication channels between teams to meet delivery milestones.
• Work with architects on project-specific architectures and contribute to technical solutions from design through code level.
• Analyze complex technical issues and guide teams toward solutions.
• Lead technical discussions across domains and internal teams.
• Coordinate with integration and testing teams on defect triage, assignment, and analysis of complex cross-domain defects.
• Work with vendors and suppliers on tools and software and support supplier quality assessments.
• Prioritize work and balance schedules and priorities across projects.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software experience.
• Leading large-scale design and architecture of automotive embedded products is preferred.

Relevant expertise

• Knowledge of automotive products including cluster, display, and ADAS.
• Project management and delivery, high-level design, architecture, requirements allocation, and cross-team coordination.
• Technical problem analysis, software integration and testing, defect triage, and supplier quality support.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate rationale, build consensus, and manage critical timelines.
