The Software Developer III designs, codes, and develops new financial applications or web systems and modifies existing core financial and web applications.
The position is a six-month contract-to-hire.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to user calls, resolve routine application problems, assist with hardware issues when possible, and route or escalate other incidents while tracking tickets.
- Design, develop, test, integrate, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot core and web applications, services, and sites.
- Help determine software project costs and schedules and provide tier III support.
- Coordinate with vendors, IT staff, users, and managers on requirements; test configurations and develop web security safeguards.
- Meet project deadlines; review, modify, debug, and document systems and diagnose related problems.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience across the software lifecycle for core or web systems, or equivalent applicable experience, education, and training.
- Front-end development skills: React, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, SASS, Bootstrap, and WCMS platforms.
- Familiarity with .NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps Server, C#, SQL Server or other relational databases, Node.js, client-server concepts, object-oriented programming, web services, and Waterfall or Agile methods.
Compensation
- Listed compensation is $113,900–$120,628 per year.
Work schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
