Software Developer (hybrid)

Work arrangement

• This is a hybrid role combining onsite and remote work; onsite and remote days are coordinated with the team and manager.

Impact and responsibilities

• Build and operate production features from technical design through release.
• Develop responsive, accessible interfaces and integrate them with backend services and Splunk APIs.
• Create AI agents and multi-step workflows to help customers investigate and complete operational tasks.
• Deliver secure solutions for authenticated, multi-tenant environments; test, debug, monitor, and improve software.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field plus 5 years of related experience, or a master's degree plus 3 years.
• Production software experience with TypeScript or JavaScript and React or a comparable modern web framework.
• Experience with RESTful or HTTP APIs in cloud-based or distributed products.
• Automated unit and integration testing, source control, CI tools, and agile software development experience.
• Experience debugging and resolving software defects in development or production.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience serving observability, cybersecurity, search, analytics, or data-platform users; Python, Java, or Go; and containerized or cloud-native applications.
• Experience designing or operating AI agents and agentic workflows, including LLMs, tool use, orchestration, or MCP.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.

Compensation

• The posting lists a starting salary range of CAD 116,700–165,800 for US and Canadian locations, without stating a pay cadence.
