Responsibilities
- Build and improve Automated Care Platform and Automated Care Intelligence features.
- Use Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and other AI development tools in daily delivery; plan work for people and agents and validate generated code.
- Develop front-end and back-end healthcare communication features, APIs, services, integrations, and automation workflows.
- Ship AI-powered features using LLMs, tool-calling, retrieval, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Test and debug behavior; protect patient privacy and system reliability in a regulated healthcare environment.
- Improve agentic workflows, prompts, handoffs, validation loops, and engineering automation; communicate through design notes, reviews, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent practical experience.
- Real experience using AI-assisted or agentic development tools, especially Claude Code and OpenAI Codex.
- Experience building web applications with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end patterns; backend development experience, ideally with Java.
- Experience with REST APIs and cloud-hosted systems; familiarity with Google Cloud, Azure, or similar platforms.
- Comfort with MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar databases; security- and privacy-aware handling of sensitive data.
- Clear written communication and a collaborative engineering approach.
- Flutter/Dart, Python, Go; agentic workflows, RAG, embeddings, evaluations, model validation; automation or internal tools; and regulated-industry or healthcare data experience are assets or bonuses.
Compensation
- Compensation is $65,000–$85,000 per year.
