Team and Product Overview

The Delivery Experience team builds and manages customer-facing delivery programs and features across Amazon.

The team owns systems supporting retail delivery, including customer-facing and backend services.

The role contributes to delivery information and features affecting millions of customers worldwide.

The position is part of a new team in the Hyderabad Development Center.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, accurate, and relevant delivery information across Amazon-owned sites.
  • Develop customer-impacting changes across mobile, tablet, desktop, and set-top box platforms.
  • Own multiple tier 1 services.

Day-to-Day Work

  • Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems for large volumes of data and real-time traffic.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, reviews, deployment, and production support.
  • Collaborate with product managers, program managers, and engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across multiple systems and services.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
