Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Software Architect to lead the design of complex Java-based software systems that operate in close integration with hardware platforms and embedded environments.
About The Role
You’ll work hand-in-hand with hardware, electronics, and firmware engineering teams to architect scalable, high-performance systems powering real-world devices and connected products.
Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise-grade Java systems for hardware-integrated products
- Design scalable backend services, APIs, messaging, and distributed system components
- Collaborate closely with hardware and embedded engineering teams throughout system design
- Define system architecture, integration patterns, and communication protocols between software and hardware layers
- Drive technical decisions across performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Java and modern software architecture patterns
- 12+ years of experience designing systems interacting with hardware, embedded devices, or electronics platforms
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, messaging, APIs, and integration protocols
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Architect mindset with strong ownership and systems thinking
- The role requires relocation to Abu Dhabi.
