Soft Services Consultant

Role purpose

Technical knowledge

• Strong knowledge of soft services operations in clinics, offices, kitchens, accommodation, water-storage areas, chemical stores, warehouses, helipads, server rooms, and critical infrastructure.
• Good understanding of BICSc standards, local regulation, SLA/KPI frameworks, PMS procedures, and HSE/environmental compliance.
• Awareness of ISO 9001, 41001, 45001, and 14001 standards and requirements related to hygiene, waste, pest control, infection control, and chemical use in KSA.
• Understanding of ESG requirements, sustainability, waste reduction, and environmental compliance.

Service governance and assurance

• Oversee cleaning, pest control, waste management, hospitality, and consumables services across facility environments.
• Prepare and review contract scopes, service-level agreements, KPIs, specifications, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure appropriate cleaning, pest control, and waste handling in clinics, offices, guest areas, kitchens, accommodation, utilities, storage areas, helipads, server rooms, and technical spaces.
• Review annual cleaning plans, deep-cleaning schedules, pest-control programs, and waste-management plans.

Performance and compliance

• Monitor service KPIs, scorecards, trends, complaints, and service gaps; implement corrective and improvement actions.
• Ensure compliant segregation, storage, transport, and disposal of general, hazardous, medical, and recyclable waste.
• Review pest-control strategies, treatment logs, trend analysis, and contractor performance.
• Monitor consumables and chemicals, including usage, storage, handling, and stock levels, in line with COSHH/HSE standards and sustainability practices.
• Implement PMS inspections, observations, NCR issuance and closure, and compliance documentation for audit readiness.

Contractors, risk, and improvement

• Evaluate contractor performance, manpower deployment, supervision, and training compliance.
• Ensure HSE, environmental, infection-control, and regulatory compliance across service areas.
• Support ESG initiatives, waste reduction, recycling, sustainable cleaning, and environmental performance monitoring.
• Apply risk controls in clinics, kitchens, server rooms, chemical storage areas, helipads, and other critical environments.
• Establish a closed-loop service recovery process, resolve guest complaints, and analyze root causes to prevent recurring failures.
• Manage project handovers into operational mode; manage NCRs and service failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare performance reports and dashboards and coordinate with the FMC team, contractors, and client representatives.
