Key Responsibilities
- Teach General Social Studies (Grades 6–8) and Business (Grades 9–12 – HSD, IBDP, or A Level).
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
- Plan and develop learning materials and schemes of work aligned with curriculum standards.
- Use data and assessment strategies to monitor progress and drive achievement.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
- Maintain excellent communication with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, department initiatives, and wider school life.
- Uphold safeguarding standards and model professional conduct aligned with school and Qatar cultural expectations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant Humanities/Business field.
- Valid teaching certification that meets Qatar MoEHE requirements.
- Experience teaching Business at HSD, IB DP, or A Level (IB DP Business Management experience advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of Social Studies curriculum and pedagogy.
- Effective classroom management and ability to build strong relationships with students.
- Innovative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Passionate about inspiring students and supporting their academic and personal growth.
