Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially aware, trend-savvy, and performance-driven

Social Media Specialist

to help grow and strengthen our presence across digital platforms.

This role goes beyond publishing and community management.

We are looking for someone who understands how social platforms behave, how audiences engage, how trends emerge, and how content formats perform.

The ideal candidate can combine daily execution with instinctive platform thinking to help optimize publishing patterns, improve engagement, and support audience growth.

The Social Media Specialist will play a key role in helping shape smarter content decisions through data, observation, experimentation, and platform knowledge.

Social Media Management & Publishing

  • Manage day-to-day publishing across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, X, and other relevant platforms.
  • Understand optimal posting schedules based on audience behavior, platform trends, and performance data.
  • Maintain content calendars and ensure timely, accurate publishing.
  • Optimize captions, hashtags, metadata, thumbnails, and post setup for each platform.
  • Ensure content is adapted correctly for platform-specific best practices.
  • Monitor platform trends, viral formats, algorithm shifts, and evolving user behavior.
  • Recommend content formats, posting patterns, hooks, and content types that improve reach and engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose content across multiple formats and platforms.
  • Support testing of new content approaches, formats, and publishing strategies.
  • Benchmark competitors and leading regional/global accounts for growth insights.
  • Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience sentiment across channels.
  • Identify recurring audience interests, pain points, and opportunities for stronger engagement.
  • Escalate sensitive issues or reputational risks when required.
  • Help build a responsive, active, and positive online presence.

Reporting & Performance Insights

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights, not just raw numbers.
  • Track KPIs including reach, engagement, follower growth, retention, shares, clicks, and response time.
  • Highlight winning content patterns and underperforming areas.
  • Recommend practical actions based on analytics findings.
  • Support campaign reporting and growth reviews.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with Content, Design, Video, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
  • Contribute ideas for upcoming campaigns, seasonal moments, and platform-first opportunities.
  • Support execution of special launches and growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in social media management, growth, or digital content roles.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and X algorithms and content behavior.
  • Proven ability to grow engagement or audience performance on brand accounts.
  • Experience using
  • CMS systems and software.
  • Strong instinct for trends, audience psychology, and platform momentum.
  • Experience using scheduling, analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Strong written communication skills in English.
  • Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Highly organized with strong ownership and fast execution.
  • Able to turn observations into practical growth actions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in
  • marketplace, classifieds, lifestyle, media, or platform businesses.
  • Experience in short-form content planning or creator-style formats.
  • Basic design or editing knowledge.
  • Familiarity with paid social boosting and content amplification.
