About The Role
We're looking for someone who lives and breathes social media.
Not someone who simply schedules posts.
At Al Qana, social media happens every day, across restaurants, attractions, events, retail outlets, waterfront experiences, and seasonal activations.
We need someone who can spot a story before it happens, capture it as it happens, and turn it into content people want to engage with.
If you're the person who instinctively takes out your phone when something interesting is happening, knows the difference between content that looks good and content that performs, and understands how to build an engaged community online, we'd like to meet you.
What You'Ll Be Doing
- Managing Al Qana's social media presence across all platforms.
- Work closely with the Marketing manager in planning and executing monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, events, and business objectives.
- Capturing and publishing daily on-site organic content for stories, showcasing Al Qana's attractions, tenants, events, dining, retail, and visitor experiences.
- Creating engaging content including reels, stories, captions, and trend-driven content.
- Writing and adapting content in both Arabic and English.
- Covering events, activations, openings, launches, and seasonal campaigns in real time.
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager to identify content opportunities and promote tenants offerings.
- Coordinating content shoots with photographers, videographers and influencers.
- Managing community engagement, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining a positive brand presence online.
- Identifying trends, viral formats, and platform updates that can help grow Al Qana's reach and engagement.
- Monitoring social media performance and providing actionable insights based on analytics and audience behaviour.
- Supporting influencer collaborations from planning through reporting.
- Ensuring all content aligns with Al Qana's brand guidelines and tone of voice.
