Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager who understands how to capture attention in a crowded digital landscape.
This role goes beyond content publishing and community management we need someone who can develop social-first strategies, create compelling content ideas, craft engaging copy, and lead the planning and execution of campaigns across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate is both a creative thinker and a strategic planner, capable of translating brand objectives into impactful social media initiatives that drive engagement, brand affinity, audience growth, and business results.
This role will work closely with creative, strategy, and account teams to ensure all content is relevant, effective, and aligned with client and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement platform-specific social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Lead content planning and social media calendars, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, campaigns, and key business priorities.
- Conceptualize innovative social-first campaigns and content ideas that drive engagement, conversation, and audience growth.
- Write compelling, on-brand copy, captions, and messaging tailored to each platform and audience.
- Develop clear and strategic creative briefs for designers, videographers, editors, and content creators.
- Collaborate with account management teams and clients to understand objectives, priorities, and campaign requirements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide strategic recommendations based on social media insights and performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, cultural moments, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for content innovation.
- Monitor social media performance, analyze data, and optimize content and campaigns based on insights and KPIs.
- Ensure brand consistency, tone of voice, and messaging across all social channels.
- Support new business pitches and contribute social media expertise to integrated marketing proposals.
- Mentor and guide junior team members where required.
What We'Re Looking For
- 5 7+ years of experience in social media management, content strategy, or digital marketing within an agency, media organization, events, or leading brand.
- Proven experience developing and executing successful social media strategies and campaigns.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with a deep understanding of digital culture and audience behavior.
- Experience working with creative, production, and content teams to bring ideas to life.
- Strong knowledge of platform best practices, content formats, analytics, and social media trends.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
