Role Description
The Social Media Executive will manage day-to-day social media activities for client and internal brand accounts in a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities include content creation, planning and scheduling content across social platforms, creating and writing posts, and optimizing channels to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
The role involves monitoring social media trends and analytics, responding to audience interactions, and collaborating with creative, PR, and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
The Social Media Executive will support campaign development, contribute ideas for new initiatives, and prepare regular performance reports and insights for internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- **Content creation**
- should be able to create and edit content independently using a smartphone and online/ in-app editing tools.
- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills for managing and growing social channels.
- Candidates should possess Media Planning skills to support the design and execution of digital and social campaigns.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills for clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content.
- Experience with social media analytics tools, content scheduling platforms, and basic understanding of digital marketing principles is beneficial.
- Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field, along with prior experience in agency or brand-side social media roles, is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a creative team environment, manage multiple projects, and adapt quickly to changing trends and priorities.
- Bi-lingual candidates are strongly preferred, English speaking applications will be considered
