About the Role
MENA TECH is hiring a Bilingual Social Media Content Creator, Presenter & Video Editor to work across its Arabic and English social media platforms.
This is a hands-on content production role responsible for creating, presenting, editing, publishing, and optimizing social media content across platforms, with Arabic content forming the majority of the workload and English content being a mandatory ongoing responsibility.
The role combines daily social media content creation, short-form video production, on-camera presenting, interviews, event coverage, community engagement, and performance optimization.
It also includes creating product-focused content around gadgets, consumer technology products, apps, and digital services.
The candidate must be comfortable appearing on camera, conducting interviews with speakers, executives, and event participants, and covering technology and business events as a social media presenter/reporter for MENA TECH.
The role requires strong Arabic editorial skills, professional English writing ability, confidence on camera, strong storytelling ability, hands-on video editing experience, and the ability to work under MENA TECH’s editorial direction and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- 1- Social Media Content Creation (Arabic & English)
- Plan, create, edit video content, publish, and optimize daily social media posts for all Arabic and English accounts.
- Manage Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, X, and future platforms in both languages.
- Maintain consistent tone, accuracy, and brand alignment across languages and platforms.
2- Arabic Content (Primary Focus)
- Create original Arabic social media posts, captions, and stories covering tech and business topics.
- Adapt content per platform while maintaining editorial quality and speed.
- Handle the majority of daily publishing volume.
3- English Content (Mandatory Responsibility)
- Create and manage English-language social media content for MENA TECH’s English channels.
- Adapt Arabic content into high-quality English posts when needed.
- Publish English content consistently.
4- Short-Form Video Creation & Editing
- Edit and publish short-form vertical videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) for both Arabic and English audiences.
- Add captions, subtitles (Arabic and English), pacing, and a social media-optimized visual structure.
- Write scripts and structure stories for short attention spans.
- Repurpose interviews, events, and editorial content into social-first videos.
- Present short-form videos on camera in Arabic and/or English, including news explainers, event highlights, product videos, reviews, and social-first editorial videos.
5- LinkedIn & B2B Content
- Create Arabic and English LinkedIn content targeting business leaders and decision-makers.
- Translate tech news, interviews, and insights into platform-appropriate B2B narratives.
6- Event Coverage
- Cover tech and business events through real-time Arabic and English social content.
- Capture, edit, and publish event highlights under tight timelines.
- Cover tech and business events through real-time Arabic and English social content, including on-camera reporting, short interviews, speaker and guest interactions, event highlights, behind-the-scenes content, and fast-turnaround publishing under tight timelines.
7- Community Management & Brand Representation
- Engage with the audience by monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and mentions across platforms.
- Represent MENA TECH professionally across all social channels and during events, maintaining credibility, editorial integrity, and brand trust.
8- Performance, Optimization & Reporting
- Track engagement, reach, growth, and content performance for both Arabic and English channels.
- Prepare structured performance reports with data-backed insights on formats, hooks, timing, and audience response.
- Optimize content formats and publishing schedules based on performance data and editorial direction.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in social media content creation.
- Proven experience managing bilingual (Arabic & English) social media accounts.
- Strong Arabic writing and storytelling skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English writing.
- Hands-on experience editing short-form social media videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Familiarity with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent.
- Clear understanding of technology and business topics.
