The Community Manager will moderate user-generated content, foster engagement, and support a positive participant experience across digital platforms.
Building and sustaining community relationships is central to the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Moderate forums, social media channels, and member-generated content to maintain a respectful and constructive environment.
- Develop engagement strategies to increase active participation and user retention.
- Respond to member inquiries, feedback, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams on community initiatives and business objectives.
- Monitor platform metrics and community health indicators for trends and improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience moderating online communities or forums with a focus on quality and inclusivity.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and community management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for public-facing interactions.
- Ability to analyze data and report on community engagement metrics.
- Familiarity with content moderation policies and best practices.
Compensation
- The stated payout is $15 to $20 per hour.
