About This Role
Overview
A Security Operations Center (SOC) Lead / Manager is required ASAP by our global market leading client
The successful candidate should be an experienced SOC Level 3 or manager / lead level with outstanding client relationship skills and ideally SAP project experience
Day to day role will involve leading the daily operations of cybersecurity analysts, overseeing threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring.
You may also be required to develop security playbooks, manage tools and ensure regulatory compliance, reporting risk metrics to the CISO, bridging technical security operations with executive management.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
• Incident Management & Response
- Policy & Procedure Development: Developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and security policies.
- Tool & Technology Management: Ensuring optimal operation of security technology stack (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, SOAR) and integrating new security tools.
- Reporting & Compliance: Creating dashboards for executive leadership, tracking compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA), and tracking performance metrics (SLA).
- Threat Detection & Hunting: Developing use cases and leading proactive threat hunts to identify security risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a SOC analyst senior level, incident responder, or security manager.
- Previous experience in a similar role working for a major SI or IT consultancy
- Outstanding client relationship skills
- Deep understanding of SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, network forensics, and threat intelligence.
- Strong leadership, communication skills for reporting to non-technical staff, and crisis management abilities.
- SAP project experience is highly desirable
