Full-time, on-site lifting role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.

Role responsibilities
- Plan lifting operations by developing lifting plans, calculating load capacities, and selecting suitable equipment.
- Coordinate with project teams, HSE personnel, and inspection specialists; assess risk, review method statements, and oversee safe onshore and offshore work.
- Prepare technical documentation; support lifting inspections and crane load testing; provide guidance to operations and training teams.
- Improve procedures, participate in audits, and contribute to sustainable and efficient lifting solutions.
Technical qualifications
- Strong capability in lifting engineering, load calculations, rigging design, and lifting plans for cranes and associated equipment.
- Knowledge and field application of lifting regulations and standards such as LOLER, ISO, and BS/EN.
- Experience with lifting equipment inspection and testing, including third-party inspection, NDT techniques, and certification processes.
- Understanding of HSE, risk management, hazard identification, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
- Proficiency with CAD, lifting simulation or planning software, and MS Office for drawings, reports, and calculations.
Preferred background
- A Mechanical, Structural, or related engineering degree or diploma and lifting engineering or rigging certifications are highly beneficial.
- Oil and gas, offshore, or heavy industry experience is advantageous, including exposure to crane operations, load testing, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
