About This Role
Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SME – Operations Field Support
professional to lead core and mobile network operations, maintenance, and project execution across telecom and non-telecom domains.
In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of network projects—from planning and deployment to testing, commissioning, and ongoing operations.
You will play a key role in ensuring reliable network performance while leading field teams in fault management, maintenance, and service delivery.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations
- Manage core/mobile network operations, maintenance, and fault rectification
- Supervise field teams and ensure timely resolution of network issues
- Handle power infrastructure (generators, battery backup) for telecom sites
- Perform asset verification and maintain accurate asset records
- Drive preventive maintenance (PM) activities and ensure compliance with standards
- Coordinate with NOC teams for fault analysis and resolution
Project Management
- Lead network projects from feasibility to commissioning
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Handle multi-vendor and contractor environments
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies
- Manage vendor contracts and service delivery
- Address customer/NOC queries and ensure service quality
Leadership
- Mentor and guide engineers and technicians
- Drive technical excellence and problem-solving across teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in
Telecom / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- 12+ years in
- telecom operations, mobile/core network support, and field maintenance
- Experience managing
- network faults, NOC escalations, PM activities, and field teams
- Exposure to
- power systems/generators
- , site operations, and telecom infrastructure support
- Proven experience in
- project execution
- , vendor coordination, and stakeholder management
- Leadership capability with a hands-on approach to operations and troubleshooting
