SMART Business Development Associate
Role Overview
Responsible for the execution of telephonic business development strategies for an assigned group of agents across a defined geographic territory.
Primary sales focus will be on Small Business, with responsibilities to market and grow Lower Middle Market and Financial Lines segments as well.
Build & execute a strategy to attract new distribution sources to territory.
Manage and maintain focus on achieving metrics across KPIs, including appointments, quotes, issued policies, line and industry mix, and profit.
Exhibit a thorough understanding of assigned marketplace, Chubb capabilities within that marketplace, and corporate vision.

Qualifications
- 2+ years proven sales experience in a high-performing sales culture and organization.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual production goals.
- 4 -year college degree and insurance experience preferred.
- Negotiation, Relationship Building, & Influence skills.
- Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, OneNote).
- Entrepreneurial and creative approach to challenges and opportunities.
- Obtain Property & Casualty Insurance License within 120 days of start date
- The pay range for the role is $60,000 to $88,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
