Responsibilities
- Manage multiple small works projects from initial enquiry through successful completion.
- Conduct site surveys, assess project requirements and identify potential risks.
- Prepare cost estimates, quotations and schedules of works.
- Procure materials and coordinate labour and subcontractors.
- Produce, review and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Visit sites to oversee daily operations, monitor progress and address issues.
- Maintain client relationships and provide regular progress updates.
- Monitor project costs, variations and budgets; identify ways to improve delivery, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
What they are looking for
- Strong trade background and carpentry and plumbing knowledge, preferably gained working on the tools.
- Proven supervisory or management experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to pass security vetting.
- SMSTS, IOSH and CSCS are desired qualifications, not stated as mandatory.
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
