Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Sleep Technologist
to join the clinical team of a leading, large-scale healthcare group in the region.
The role supports specialized sleep medicine services across multiple facilities, working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
The ideal candidate will bring strong
sleep lab and polysomnography experience
, along with expertise in
diagnostic sleep studies, patient care, and equipment management
, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a clinical team environment.
Sleep Study Operations
- Perform and monitor
- polysomnography (PSG), CPAP/BiPAP titration studies
- , and other sleep diagnostic procedures
- Prepare patients for sleep studies, including electrode placement and equipment setup
- Monitor patients overnight, ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety
- Score and analyze sleep studies in accordance with
- AASM standards
Patient Care & Support
- Educate patients on sleep study procedures and therapy options (e.g., CPAP usage)
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout procedures
- Identify and respond to any clinical issues during sleep studies
- Provide follow-up support as required for ongoing sleep therapy
Equipment & Quality Management
- Maintain and calibrate sleep lab equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues during studies
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and equipment hygiene
- Maintain accurate documentation and study records
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
- Stay updated on best practices in
- sleep medicine and diagnostic technology
- Support audits and quality assurance initiatives
- Maintain patient data confidentiality in line with healthcare regulations
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with
- sleep physicians, respiratory therapists, and nursing teams
- Coordinate scheduling and workflow within the sleep lab
- Contribute to process improvements and service quality enhancement
- Support and mentor junior technologists where required
