Site Surveyor - interior Fit-out

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Survey and measure site conditions, including walls, floors, ceilings, openings, partitions, dimensions, and levels.
• Compare existing site conditions with architectural and technical drawings; identify and report discrepancies.
• Verify MEP points and coordinate requirements with project teams.
• Prepare and update measurement reports, survey drawings, as-built drawings, and shop drawings.
• Translate site observations into AutoCAD drawings and layouts; maintain drawing and survey records.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, draftsmen, MEP engineers, and site teams, and provide information for project execution.
• Conduct re-measurements, communicate potential installation or schedule issues, and complete accurate work within project timelines.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Surveying, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out, construction, or site surveying.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out work, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, and finishes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Experience using laser measuring tools and other surveying equipment; understanding of site measurements, levels, dimensions, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and coordination skills; able to work independently on-site.
• Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage. UAE/GCC interior fit-out experience is preferred.
