Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Site Supervisor role based in
'Tiruchirappalli (Trichy)'
, Tamil Nadu.
The Site Supervisor will oversee day-to-day site operations, including monitoring construction activities, supervising site personnel and subcontractors, and ensuring work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
The role involves coordinating with project managers, architects, consultants, and vendors to plan daily work schedules, resolve on-site issues, and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders.
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections, and documenting progress with reports, photographs, and checklists.
Additional responsibilities include tracking materials and equipment, verifying measurements, supporting quantity checks, and helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and within defined quality and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in construction supervision, including reading architectural and structural drawings, understanding specifications, and monitoring workmanship and materials.
- Proficiency in site coordination and planning, such as scheduling daily activities, sequencing tasks, and aligning subcontractor work with project timelines.
- Strong quality, safety, and compliance focus, including conducting site inspections, implementing health and safety standards, and adhering to local building regulations.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address on-site issues, design clarifications, and practical constraints quickly and effectively.
- Good documentation and reporting skills for maintaining site records, progress reports, checklists, and basic quantity and measurement tracking.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in site supervision.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Tiruchirappalli, with flexibility
