The Site Supervisor oversees day-to-day fire protection work on project sites, ensuring installations meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Doha, Qatar; some documentation and coordination work may be completed from home.
Site supervision duties
- Coordinate site operations, supervise teams, and track progress against project plans.
- Plan daily work schedules and monitor installation of fire-rated doors and passive fire protection systems.
- Enforce health and safety procedures and maintain accurate site records.
- Report milestones and issues and liaise with project managers, contractors, and consultants to resolve site challenges.
- Verify compliance with specifications and support inspections and audits.
- Mentor site staff, ensure proper use of materials and tools, and contribute to improved site practices.
Qualifications and experience
- Demonstrated site-supervision experience in construction, fire protection, or related building safety projects is required.
- Knowledge of fire-rated doors, firestopping, passive fire protection systems, and relevant building and fire safety codes and standards is required.
- Organizational, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation, reporting, and standard office and construction management tools is required.
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality assurance practices is required.
- A relevant technical diploma or degree is requested; professional fire safety or site management certifications are advantageous.
- Qatar or Gulf construction experience and familiarity with local regulations are beneficial.
