Key Responsibilities
- Supervise erection of structural steel, including columns, beams, platforms, pipe supports, access structures, and miscellaneous steel items.
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, method statements, ITPs, and QatarEnergy requirements.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, HSE, subcontractors, and client representatives for inspections and work execution.
- Verify alignment, fit-up, bolting, welding, and grouting activities prior to inspection and handover.
- Raise RFIs for design discrepancies and support resolution of site technical issues.
- Monitor daily progress, manpower productivity, and material availability, and report potential delays.
- Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, participate in toolbox talks, and promote safe work practices
