Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• 8–10 hours per day
• 6 days per week
• Site-based work with field inspections and audits

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on construction sites
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company policies
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and prepare reports
• Recommend corrective and preventive safety measures
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and inspection logs
• Support risk assessments and job safety analysis (JSA) processes
• Work closely with site supervisors and engineers to maintain safe operations

Skills for This Role

• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and HSE standards
• Risk assessment and hazard identification skills
• Incident investigation and reporting experience
• Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Communication and team coordination skills
• Knowledge of OSHA or equivalent safety frameworks
• Ability to enforce safety rules on active construction sites
• Emergency response and crisis management awareness
• Documentation and reporting accuracy

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification strongly preferred
• Proven experience in construction safety or HSE roles
• Familiarity with construction site operations and workflows
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in outdoor and high-risk environments
