Site Safety Manager

Role Purpose

Strategic and People Leadership

• Cascade the HSSE strategy into operating plans and align it with interfacing departmental strategies.
• Lead the HSSE department through objective setting, performance management, staff development, and motivation.
• Lead talent development initiatives and promote organizational values, ethics, and accountability.

HSE Operations

• Develop, communicate, and implement HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Identify workplace hazards, assess risks, and implement strategies to prevent accidents.
• Develop and deliver training on safety practices, emergency response, and environmental protection.
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal departments, regulators, and industry groups on HSE initiatives.

Continuous Improvement and QHSE

• Lead continuous improvement and sustainability of HSSE systems, processes, and practices.
• Implement corporate QHSE policies and processes to promote world-class standards and sustainability.
• Ensure HSSE reports are timely, accurate, and compliant with company quality requirements.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related field.
• Six years of related experience.
• Two years of experience with growing managerial accountability in similar roles.
• English language capability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional certification or a similar certification.
• Experience in the EPC industry.
• Arabic language capability.
