Cloud platform and security

• Deploy, manage, and maintain sovereign-cloud strategy on AWS and GCP while meeting regulatory and data-residency requirements.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling, and workload optimization.
• Investigate and remediate cloud-security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and improve cloud-security posture.
• Implement security tools and policy-driven automation and promote secure-by-design DevSecOps practices.
• Use Terraform to provision, modify, and secure cloud resources; maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with Git and GitLab.
• Manage HashiCorp Vault secrets, access policies, token lifecycles, and secrets rotation.

Reliability and operations

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, container, and performance issues across distributed systems.
• Use Datadog to monitor system health and performance, manage SLIs and SLOs, and drive reliability improvements.
• Manage 24x7 alerting and incident response through PagerDuty, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to incident, problem, and change management.
• Perform system hardening, vulnerability remediation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Develop automation with Python, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible to reduce manual work and improve efficiency and resilience.

Knowledge, skills, and experience

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps or SRE roles; the role overview separately states 5–10 years.
• Proven hands-on expertise managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with Terraform, Git/GitLab for CI/CD and version control, and tools including HashiCorp Vault, Datadog, and PagerDuty; Confluence is also mentioned.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, including IAM, encryption, network security, container security, and vulnerability management.
