Responsibilities

  • To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Navigate a Unionized Manufacturing Environment: Build effective working relationships with hourly employees, union representatives, and leadership while adhering to established labor agreements, policies, and procedures.
  • Leverage Automotive Industry Experience: Apply knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, quality standards, and operational requirements to support business and customer objectives.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and operations teams to drive solutions, improve performance, and achieve shared goals.
  • Drive Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement: Maintain a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Education, Licenses, Certifications: Demonstrated role competence is required. College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject or experience equivalent is required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Significant relevant work experience required. Preferably 5-7 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Program Management role in the automotive industry or a similarly regulated industry. Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience preferred.
