About the role
Launch and manage Vanna Health's New York City services, with responsibility for operational performance, member engagement, partnerships, and team culture across all five boroughs.
The Site Manager leads a geographically dispersed remote team of coaches and works with Clinical and Technology leadership on organization-wide improvement.
The role is hybrid based on program needs; some team and one-to-one meetings may be in person.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent services including community outreach, member-centered engagement, health-care coordination, and connections to providers and wellbeing resources.
- Manage operational objectives, key performance indicators, and the operation's budget.
- Monitor daily team activity and productivity indicators, including outreach, enrollment conversion, member engagement and satisfaction, documentation, and caseload activity.
- Hire, supervise, mentor, and develop coaches; give feedback and support team performance and growth.
- Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Partner with clinical and technology teams to improve internal processes and quality of care.
- Build relationships with health-system clients and community partners and identify opportunities for future growth.
Need to have
- Experience working in and scaling a high-growth services organization; comfort managing to performance numbers and metrics.
- Experience leading cross-functional project implementations from start to finish.
- At least 5 years of people-management experience and at least 2 years managing remote teams.
- Ability to manage performance, address challenges constructively, operate amid ambiguity, and build processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Healthcare experience involving complex physical and behavioral care, including serious mental illness; experience supporting quality measures and utilization reduction.
- Comfort using digital tools to organize, communicate, and support daily operations.
- Must be located in the NYC area.
- Bachelor's degree required for external candidates; internal candidates may be considered without one based on relevant experience and a proven performance record.
Nice to have
- Medicaid experience.
- Experience providing community and home-based care.
- Experience collaborating with clinical and software development teams.
- Entrepreneurial experience, such as working at an early-stage company or pursuing an independent idea.
Compensation
- Salary range is $105,000–$115,000 per year; compensation also includes equity ownership.
Location and work arrangement
- The role is based in New York City and is hybrid according to program needs; the coaches managed by the Site Manager work remotely.
