Overview
The Site Manager (Electrical) is responsible for managing and supervising all on-site electrical activities related to EPC High Voltage (HV) / Extra High Voltage (EHV) Substation projects, ensuring safe execution, quality compliance, timely completion, and full adherence to contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements. The role covers project execution from site mobilization through installation, testing, commissioning, energization, and final handover.
1- Lead and supervise all on-site electrical works including installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
2- Ensure execution is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules..
3- Coordinate daily site activities with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
4- Coordinate with project management, planning, procurement, and QA/QC teams to ensure smooth project execution.
5- Monitor progress against project schedules and report delays or issues requiring corrective action.
6- Ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and manpower for uninterrupted site progress.
7- Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, client standards, and applicable international and local codes.
8- Review inspections, test reports, material approvals, and installation quality.
9- Support QA/QC teams during inspections, testing, and punch list clearance.
1- Oversee pre-commissioning, testing, energization, and final commissioning of electrical systems.
1- Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and utility authorities during testing and handover.
1- Ensure all commissioning documentation and as-built records are properly completed.
1- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, permit systems, and client safety requirements.
1- Act as the primary site contact for client representatives and consultants regarding site works.
