Role overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate stainless steel and architectural metalwork installation activities.
Work location is in person.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise installation of stainless steel handrails, cladding, and architectural metalwork.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and verify site measurements.
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and site teams.
- Manage installation crews and monitor project progress.
- Ensure work meets quality standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, prepare snag lists, and coordinate project handover.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- At least three years of relevant experience in site supervision and installation of stainless steel works or architectural metalwork.
- Practical experience with stainless steel handrails, cladding, and related fabrication and installation works.
- Ability to read shop drawings and coordinate site measurements.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- GCC experience is preferred.
- Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.
