Role summary
Site Engineer role overseeing joinery site operations, resources, and work quality.
Coordinates with project managers, designers, production teams, and other project stakeholders.
Site and project responsibilities
- Assist project managers with project requirements and implementation of quality, health, and safety policies.
- Conduct site surveys and setting out; manage manpower and supervise site labor and subcontractors.
- Interpret drawings, monitor project schedules, report delays, and ensure work and materials meet specifications.
- Oversee material selection and requisition; liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors, and the workforce.
- Plan work and site facilities to meet deadlines; oversee quality control and site safety.
- Check work against approved method statements, quality plans, and inspection and test plans.
- Prepare reports, variation-order and site-instruction data, record drawings, technical reports, and site diaries.
- Provide daily photo and progress updates to the project manager and coordinate authority inspections and approvals.
Requirements and preferences
- At least 2 years of joinery experience is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- English is listed as a language; Arabic and Hindi are optional.
Pay
- AED 2,500–3,500 per month.
