Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising the execution of construction projects according to approved drawings and specifications, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
The role involves coordinating with project teams and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress and supporting the company’s objectives in delivering high-quality construction services.
Success in this role is demonstrated by completing projects efficiently, maintaining engineering and professional standards, and contributing to the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Review and verify engineering drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare and review quantity schedules and conduct material take-offs for executed works.
- Prepare progress reports, daily and weekly site reports, and project achievement certificates.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Assist in resolving technical and logistical issues that may arise on-site.
- Communicate with senior management to ensure projects are completed within approved timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Proficient in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, quantity schedules, material take-offs, and progress documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
- Preferably based in Jeddah.
