Responsibilities
- Oversee 33kV/11kV cable laying, jointing, and termination in accordance with TAQA/ADDC standards.
- Manage excavation, ducting, and backfilling in compliance with ADDC requirements and utility NOCs.
- Coordinate stage-wise inspections and Work Inspection Requests with consultants and TAQA engineers.
- Supervise subcontractors to meet project timelines and HSE protocols.
- Prepare daily site reports and progress trackers.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with as-built documentation and utility GIS mapping.
- Knowledge of UAE cable route regulations and underground service detection.
- High proficiency in method statements, risk assessments, and technical submittals.
- UAE driving licence is essential for site-to-site mobility.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is a significant advantage for authority liaison.
- DEWA-approved competency card holder preferred.
