Role Description
The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site operations for interior fit-out and related construction activities in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This full-time, on-site role includes supervising work progress, coordinating with project managers, designers, and contractors, and ensuring that designs are implemented accurately and safely.
The Site Engineer will conduct regular inspections, monitor quality control, and verify that materials and workmanship meet project standards and local regulations.
Responsibilities also involve reviewing drawings, addressing technical issues, preparing site reports, and supporting timelines, budgets, and resource planning.
The role requires active communication with stakeholders to maintain clear updates, resolve site challenges, and support seamless project delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills, with experience managing interior fit-out or construction activities.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for coordinating with project teams, clients, and contractors.
- Candidates should possess quality control and inspection skills to ensure work meets design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to interior projects and building systems.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in interiors, fit-out, or construction projects, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, schedules, materials, and local building codes.
- Ability to work collaboratively, solve problems on-site, and manage multiple tasks under time constraint
