Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Dubai.
The Site Engineer will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
include supervising site crews, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and monitoring progress against project schedules.
The role involves conducting regular inspections for quality control, resolving on-site technical issues, and reporting status updates to project managers.
The Site Engineer will also assist with preparing site documentation, maintaining records of work performed, and supporting compliance with local regulations and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site construction experience, including day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities
- Background in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, with the ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
- Effective communication skills for interacting with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with quality control processes, site inspections, and adherence to safety and compliance standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Proficiency in construction-related software and basic MS Office tools
- Familiarity with Dubai or UAE construction codes and regulations is an advantage
- Ability to work on-site in varying conditions, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
