The position is a Site Civil Engineer based in Dubai, UAE, in the construction and engineering industry.
The job type is full-time and permanent.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate site activities to keep construction aligned with the project schedule.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering challenges for the project team.
- Prepare cost estimates, manage project budgets, and support timely material procurement.
- Ensure work complies with quality procedures and project specifications.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and financial summaries.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and project staff.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of civil engineering experience is required.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects in the UAE is required.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards is required.
- Project management, leadership, and communication skills are required.
- The candidate must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations is required.
- A UAE driver’s license is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary is AED 5,000 to AED 6,000 per month, depending on experience.
