Site Engineer – Bio & Environmental Studies & Project Implementation

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and environmental/bio studies including soil, water, vegetation, and ecological assessments
• Support preparation and execution of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and biodiversity studies
• Collect, analyze, and document environmental and biological data from project sites
• Supervise on-site implementation of environmental and ecological project activities
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and project standards
• Assist in preparation and execution of Environmental Management Plans (EMP)
• Monitor biodiversity conservation activities and ecological restoration works
• Coordinate with consultants, laboratories, and regulatory authorities for testing and approvals
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress and environmental monitoring reports
• Identify environmental risks and propose mitigation and corrective measures
• Ensure proper implementation of sustainability and conservation practices at site
• Maintain accurate records of field observations, samples, and reports
• Support project teams in environmental awareness and compliance training

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in environmental studies, ecological surveys, or field implementation
• Knowledge of biodiversity assessment, environmental monitoring, and ecological restoration
• Experience in EIA/EMP preparation and implementation (preferred)
• Familiarity with UAE environmental regulations and standards (advantage)
• Proficiency in MS Office and environmental reporting tools
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred)

• Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
