Full-time, on-site Site Engineer role supporting construction projects in Dubai.
The role oversees daily site activities, coordinates crews, and monitors project progress, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities on site; supervise work crews and monitor progress against plans and schedules.
- Ensure work complies with structural and civil engineering specifications; inspect quality and safety and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and consultants and report site status.
- Review drawings and documents, prepare site reports, assist with resource planning, and support compliance with local codes and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision skills and experience working on active construction sites.
- Effective communication and coordination skills; quality control and inspection capabilities.
- Civil and structural engineering knowledge relevant to building construction and site execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Previous Site Engineer or similar building-construction experience; Dubai or GCC experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with local building regulations, safety standards, and construction codes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use basic engineering software and Microsoft Office.
- Organization, attention to detail, task management under time constraints, safe work practices, and collaborative teamwork.
