Role description
Full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi.
Oversees civil works for pools, water features, landscaping structures, and related outdoor infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction and ensure compliance with design specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors; review drawings and prepare work schedules.
- Monitor material use and support quality control through each project phase.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, update progress reports, and support project planning and sequencing.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to meet timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- 2–5 years of site engineering experience; pool, landscaping, or outdoor construction experience is preferred.
- Experience coordinating site teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders and managing daily construction activities.
- Knowledge of stormwater management and drainage for outdoor spaces, pools, and water features.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, local regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in engineering and drafting software such as AutoCAD and basic project management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work in a multicultural team environment.
- Able to work full time on site in Abu Dhabi and visit other emirates as needed.
