Full-time Site Civil Engineer role at junior to mid-level.
Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications while meeting quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction work against project plans, drawings, and specifications; coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project managers.
- Review drawings and technical documents; inspect progress, quality, and safety compliance; ensure work meets approved designs, codes, standards, and regulations.
- Monitor schedules, report progress and delays, and identify and resolve technical or site issues.
- Prepare site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and project documentation; document design changes, variations, and site instructions.
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment use, and workforce allocation; work with quality control teams.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements; assist with quantity measurements, material estimates, and verification of completed work.
- Participate in site meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder coordination discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Previous civil engineering, construction site supervision, or project execution experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, site management procedures, relevant building codes, construction standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; project scheduling software knowledge is an advantage.
- Problem-solving, analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and project standards; willingness to work on construction sites and travel between project locations when required.
