The Shovel Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing sector, particularly in the handling and movement of materials. The Shovel Operator is responsible for adhering to safety protocols while performing their duties, making this role essential for maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery, including shovels, to move materials efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to understand material handling requirements.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement and equipment usage.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment use and safety procedures.
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR1,500.00 per month
