Role overview
Operate and maintain a shovel safely and efficiently at project sites, including marine and beach operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the shovel for loading, excavation, and material handling as instructed.
- Perform daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks; maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and the plant team, follow safety procedures, and report equipment issues or incidents promptly.
- Support other equipment or site activities as directed by the Plant Manager.
What the role requires
- A valid UAE Shovel Operator (Heavy Tractor) license is essential.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to understand work instructions.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and site safety standards, and ability to work in marine or beach environments.
- Driving License No. 3 (LTV) is an added advantage.
