Role Overview
The company is seeking a Short-Form Content Lead with deep expertise from the first frame through the last second of short-form content.
The role requires strong attention to detail, understanding of audience engagement, and the ability to lead a team producing high-quality short-form videos.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage the content team and oversee the end-to-end short-form production process.
- Review pacing, hooks, cuts, transitions, captions, visuals, audio, and retention with detailed quality control.
- Set quality standards, identify effective formats, and collaborate with content, creative, and production teams.
- Provide actionable feedback, mentor team members, and stay current with trends, formats, editing styles, and audience behavior.
- Ensure content is delivered on time while balancing creative quality with speed and volume.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in short-form content is required.
- Candidates should understand YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and similar short-form formats.
- The role requires specialist short-form expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and strong knowledge of hooks, pacing, storytelling, retention, visual language, and editing.
- Previous experience leading or managing a creative or content team is required.
- Candidates should provide constructive feedback, demonstrate ownership and execution, meet deadlines, and balance quality with speed and volume.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with high-volume short-form content is a bonus.
- Experience building or managing short-form content strategies is a bonus.
- Experience analyzing content performance and using insights to improve future content is a bonus.
