Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer to support one of our clients in building and scaling high-quality eCommerce experiences.
This role requires full ownership of Shopify store development from concept to launch, including stores with 100+ products, while ensuring premium design execution, seamless user experience, and high performance (speed, responsiveness, and scalability).
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders focused on delivering luxury, minimal, and conversion-driven digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and launch complete Shopify stores from scratch
- Structure and manage:
- Navigation, collections, and product catalogs (100+ products)
- Customize and extend Shopify themes (primarily Dawn / OS 2.0)
- Develop custom sections, components, and features using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Translate design concepts into premium, high-end UI/UX implementations
- Develop and maintain advanced frontend features, including:
- Sticky and animated headers (e.g., blur on scroll)
- AJAX-based cart drawer with upsell functionality
- Dynamic product pages (subscriptions, pricing logic)
- Build optimized:
- Collection pages (interactive product display, hover effects)
- Landing pages and custom content sections
- Implement multilingual support (Arabic / English, RTL)
- Integrate and manage third-party apps, APIs, and marketing tools
- Troubleshoot issues and maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable codebases
- Continuously optimize for conversion rate and user experience

- Ensure high performance across all builds:
- Fast load times
- Smooth interactions
- Mobile-first responsiveness
- Optimize for Google PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals
- Minimize reliance on unnecessary apps and redundant code
- Implement best practices for:
- Image optimization
- Lazy loading
- Efficient asset management

Requirements
- Proven experience building full Shopify stores end-to-end
- Strong proficiency in:
- Shopify Liquid
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Deep understanding of:
- Shopify OS 2.0 architecture
- Sections, JSON templates, and theme structure
- Experience working with:
- Custom themes and/or Shopify Storefront API
- Shopify AJAX API, objects, properties, and metafields
- Solid knowledge of:
- DOM manipulation
- Responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Experience integrating and debugging third-party apps and APIs
- Strong debugging and testing skills (browser dev tools, performance tools)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Strong communication skills with proactive problem-solving mindset

- Familiarity with:

- Git / GitHub workflows
