- OSHA Certification
- HAZWOPER and/or Confined Space certifications

- This is a hands-on leadership position in an industrial shop environment. You'll work around mechanical equipment, chemicals, forklifts, and industrial cleaning systems while leading a team and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- The position requires flexibility, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and occasional night shifts based on business needs.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading shop, manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance operations
- Experience managing shop workflow, schedules, equipment, and personnel
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop operations and assign work to technicians
- Coordinate schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met
- Oversee receiving, shipping, and processing of customer equipment
- Maintain shop equipment, vehicles, trailers, and facility systems
- Order shop materials, chemicals, and operating supplies
- Ensure all job documentation is accurate and completed on time
- Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on shop equipment
- Lead monthly safety inspections and maintain OSHA compliance
- Maintain a clean, organized shop using 5S principles
- Support shop production by performing hands-on work as needed
- Partner with Operations, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to keep projects moving
