Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and track service and production orders accurately, including order entry.
• Prepare customer quotes and documents within corporate standards and quality procedures.
• Procure parts and coordinate outside services to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate costing of parts and services needed to complete orders.
• Provide regular order-status updates to internal and external customers.
• Enter, organize, and file order information manually and electronically according to shop procedures.
• Communicate order status and potential customer issues to management.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and understand mechanical concepts and work in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and complete varied work assignments within structured or critical deadlines.
• Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new applications.
• Ability to work safely, lead by example, and contribute to company safety.

Compensation

• Expected base compensation is $45,000–$55,000 per year or more, depending on relevant experience, technical competencies, certifications, and other factors.
